IEC - Graduate Certificate of Teaching

Graduate Certificate of Teaching (8 to12 years)

The Graduate Certificate of Teaching (8 to 12 years) provides individuals who have completed a four-year birth to eight teaching qualification with the skills and knowledge required to teach children aged eight through to 12 years. This certificate is regarded by the NSW Department of Education and Communities as eligible for approval to teach Stage 2 and Stage 3 primary students.

Mia Mia Child and Family Study Centre offers the community, staff and students a long day care service for children from 6 weeks until they start school. This Centre is an integral part of the Institute and provides unique opportunities for staff research and observational studies for units offered in child development, curriculum studies and early childhood education. more...
