Zinnia Mevawalla is a doctoral candidate at the Institute of Early Childhood, Macquarie University, Australia. Her doctoral research is focused on young children's everyday critical and divergent thinking and creative problem solving in a low-income context in India. Zinnia's other research interests include early childhood advocacy, complexity theory, social justice, children's participation in social change and community development via early childhood initiatives.
